Summary: You may request a full refund within seven (7) days of your initial purchase, provided that no video credits have been consumed during that period. Once any credits are used, the plan becomes non-refundable because the underlying compute costs are immediately incurred.
This Refund Policy applies to all paid subscriptions of the UaiAva platform (“Service”) operated by Tasman LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, and forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. 7-Day Refund Window
You are eligible for a full refund of your most recent plan purchase if all of the following conditions are met:
- the refund request is submitted within seven (7) calendar days of the initial purchase or renewal date;
- no video credits have been consumed on the account during that period;
- no custom avatar, voice clone or similar compute-intensive resource has been generated;
- the account has not been suspended for abuse or violation of our Terms of Service.
2. Why Used Credits Are Non-Refundable
UaiAva incurs real, non-recoverable third-party compute costs (AI model inference, GPU rendering, voice synthesis, storage, bandwidth) the moment a video credit is consumed. For that reason, once any credit has been used within a billing period, that billing period becomes non-refundable. This policy protects both the sustainability of the Service and the fairness of its pricing for all customers.
3. Subscription Renewals
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period. You may cancel at any time from your account dashboard to stop future renewals. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access until that date.
Renewal charges are not automatically refundable. If you forget to cancel and a renewal is charged, you may contact us within seventy-two (72) hours of the renewal; we will consider a refund on a case-by-case basis, provided no credits from the new billing period have been consumed.
4. Exceptions
No refunds will be issued for:
- billing periods in which any video credit has been used;
- accounts terminated for violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use policy;
- requests submitted more than seven (7) days after the applicable charge;
- charges related to custom enterprise agreements, unless otherwise agreed in writing;
- chargebacks or disputes initiated without first contacting our support team.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, send an email to Suporte@uaiava.ai from the email address associated with your account and include:
- your account email;
- the date of purchase;
- the plan you purchased (Starter, Creator or Pro);
- the reason for your refund request.
We will review your request and respond within five (5) business days. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method via Stripe and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
6. Chargebacks
We strongly encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Most issues can be resolved directly and quickly. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting support may result in immediate suspension of your account.
7. Statutory Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to limit any mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply under the laws of your country of residence, including the right of withdrawal under applicable EU, UK or Brazilian consumer protection regulations.
